Titros Privacy Policy

Effective September 27, 2026

Titros is an Android app that adds subtitles and your own text to videos. It is developed by Babakov Denys ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data leaves your device, why, and how long it is kept.

The app has no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, phone number or contacts.

1. Videos and speech recognition

The video you pick is processed on your device. The video file itself is never sent to our servers.

To create subtitles, we send the video's audio track through our server (Cloudflare) to Groq, a speech recognition service. Our server does not store the audio: it only passes it on and returns the text. Groq doesn't store the audio either, and doesn't use it to train models. The exception is troubleshooting service failures or investigating abuse: in that case Groq may temporarily keep the request and its result for up to 30 days, unless the law requires longer. See Groq's policy for details.

The finished subtitles and videos are saved only on your device.

2. Device identifier and purchases

To keep track of your balance and purchases, the app uses its identifier on your device (Android ID).

Purchases go through Google Play. Their history and your balance of seconds are kept by RevenueCat, which processes purchases on our behalf. We never receive your card details.

To protect payments from fraud, the app checks that the device and the app are genuine using Google Play Integrity. Google performs this check under the Google Play terms.

Our server keeps only service counters, such as limits and records of paid sessions. They are deleted automatically within a few days.

3. Support requests

If you write to us through Settings → Contact support, we receive:

Your message reaches us through Resend, an email delivery service, and through Telegram. Attachments are deleted from our server 20–25 minutes after upload. The message itself is kept in our mailbox and in Telegram for as long as we need it to reply, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your email address is saved on your device so you don't have to type it again. We don't use it for newsletters or advertising.

4. Crash reports and usage statistics

To find and fix errors and to see which parts of the app people use, the app uses two Google services: Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase.

When the app crashes or a processing step fails, Crashlytics receives:

Google Analytics receives which screens you open and which steps you go through, with the numbers that describe them:

It also receives the app version, your device model and Android version, and your approximate country, which Google determines from your IP address. Events are linked to a random identifier Google generates for the app on your device.

Neither service receives your videos, their audio, the subtitle text or your support messages. The app doesn't use the advertising ID, and none of this data is used for advertising.

Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Usage statistics are kept for 2 months, after which only anonymous totals remain. See Firebase's privacy information for details.

5. Who processes your data

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. Your data is processed only by services acting on our behalf:

All data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

We may disclose data if required by law.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you or delete your data: your purchase history and balance in RevenueCat, and your support requests. Write to us through Contact support or at titros.support@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.

If you uninstall the app, the data on your device is deleted with it.

How to request deletion of your data

  1. Open Titros and go to Settings → Contact support.
  2. Choose the topic "Other" and write "Please delete my data".
  3. Enter the email address where we should confirm, and tap Send.

The request carries your device's app identifier, so we can find your data without asking for anything else. If you no longer have the app, email titros.support@gmail.com instead and include the Google Play order number of a purchase (from Google's receipt email), so we can find your purchases.

What we delete:

What is kept:

We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm it by email.

7. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
